Transparency

When residents lose access to their elected officials, the system has failed them. We need to renew an understanding in and connection to City Hall. Our government works for the people, not the other way around.

• Government should exist to serve and protect all residents, regardless of zip code, by promoting accessibility and transparency

• We can increase and diversify involvement in government. People deserve and have the right to know that their governments work for them.

• Host city council meetings in all of our neighborhoods

• Hold elected officials responsible for being engaged with all the neighborhoods

• We need to work with our partners across jurisdictional boundaries to create more transparency in our government system
